01 Community Building
Connect
Building Friendships and Emotional Intelligence
QACP is a parent-run preschool serving children and their caregivers from infancy through Pre-K. Our teachers create and execute curriculum in our classes while parents and caregivers work as teachers’ assistants and support the school in an organizational capacity throughout the year. Our affiliation with North Seattle College allows enrolled parents and caregivers to receive ongoing education in parenting and early childhood development from qualified parent educators.
Meet other parents and caregivers with children who are going through similar milestones, joys, and challenges. One of the many benefits adults experience while participating in co-op is the long-term family friendships that often develop.

02 Cognitive Growth
Discover
Nurturing Curiosity and Critical Thinking
Parents and teachers collaborate to provide young minds with a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment in which to explore the world. Our philosophy emphasizes socialization and play-based learning. Interaction with parent educators offers parents an opportunity to gain further insights to meet their children’s physical, intellectual, and social/emotional needs.
Parents and caregivers are an integral part of the success of QACP. We strive to create a community where both parents and children are supported through early childhood and beyond by the connections they have made with other co-op families.

03 Daycare
Support
Multi-Aged Classroom (MAC)
Need care for your other child(ren) during your time working in the classroom? QACP is proud to offer the Multi-Aged Classroom (MAC) for the care of siblings during the caregiver’s workday. Additionally, space is available in the MAC for drop-off care for all currently enrolled students as space allows.

04 Learning
Grow as a Parent
Parent Education and Resources
Our Parent education instructors provide curriculum and discussion incorporating current research with the personal concerns and the diverse experiences of our community of caregivers. Over the course of the school year, you can expect topics such as Early Child Development, Nutrition, Sleep Challenges, Temperament, Guidance, Adjusting to Parenthood, and more.
From the NSC web page: “Parents receive valuable parent education over the course of the year from an NSC-appointed Parent Education instructor. Many parents list this as their favorite part of co-op, and it is an important part of our preschool culture.”
